Seattle PD towed it. The thought crossed their minds.

The Mustang has standard Anti Lock Window Breaks.

Jeez, why not just paint the fire hydrant camo?

Damn, it’s like they tried to be as square in front of the hydrant as they could.

He got off way easy, some departments would have smashed out the windows and run the hose through the interior.

Depending on the city and if there’s room they’ll ram the offending car out of the way and bill the owner for any damages to their million dollar truck.

Me too. They actually need to do that before turning the hose on, because it needs to be as straight as possible to work right... So it has to pass through the car.

Even the FD in Seattle is nice, seriously I have never been to a city where everyone is so polite.

Oh come on. While most are yellow the old ones in the SoDo district are still green. It wasn’t hard to miss.

My father, a retired fire fighter has done that. Several times.

Hydrant colour isn’t arbitrarily chosen:

I'm not saying he didn't deserve the consequences, I'm just saying green hydrants that kind of blend with the landscaping seems like a bad idea and yellow paint is pretty cheap.

I know right, it is just a temporary move. We are planning on moving back out here once I am done with school.

Once you live in the country long enough you have to go back to it every once in awhile. I need to get back to living so far away from my neighbors that I can walk out to my mailbox naked and shoot guns in my own backyard without anyone calling the cops.

Doesn’t matter. Muted forest green is a terrible choice for a fire hydrant color. Visibility is important. Also, I do not recal ever seeing a fire hydrant that wasn't very brightly colored, 99.9% that I've ever seen were yellow. This is just weird.
